Help is a short and simple word. But, that doesn’t mean it’s short or simple to get help.
As a licensed clinician since 2000, I understand that that therapy is not a one size fits all. And that help and growing oneself is a process that is unique to each individual. We cannot truly know what that process will be in advance but we can come to see and understand it, by having an experience with it.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in several community and two hospital settings. I have worked with people struggling with issues with substance, abuse, loss, divorce, and those wishing to understand themselves better.
In 2015 I completed a comprehensive advanced training program that lead to my credential in adult psychoanalysis.
At bottom, my clinical work is founded and fueled by my respect and compassion for all forms of human suffering. As human beings we are each so complex. We know ourselves and yet also don’t or cannot always know ourselves. In a similar way, our unconscious can also provide clues to solving the issues that lead us to psychotherapy. In this way, part of therapy is about having a safe space and time to find more awareness and acceptance for oneself.

To discuss your situation and interest in therapy, contact me. The best to contact me is to leave a confidential message. I’ll return your call later the same business day or within 24 hours. I prefer to see you in person in my office. But I am also available to meet online. Either way, I hope you find what you are looking for.
